When the Canadian condiments and marinades manufacturer Produits de Nos Grand-Meres introduced a new product line packaged in glass jars with metal lids, they found their metal detector inspection equipment wasn't enough to ensure total quality of the final products.
By replacing their metal detectors with the Eagle™ Tall PRO XS x-ray inspection system, Produit de Nos Grand-Meres was able to have multiple quality checks – mass measurement, missing cap detection and component count – performed simultaneously on their production line to enhance their quality control standards. Furthermore, the Canadian manufacturer was now capable of glass in glass inspection, as well as locating metal fragments in sealed jars and other physical contaminants.
